INTRODUCTION

Issue that this update fixes

This update package fixes the following issue:
  • 2447739 An Office Communicator 2007 R2 user cannot invite a Lync 2010 user to an Audio/Video conference
This cumulative update also includes the following previously released updates:
  • 2251423 You may receive a serverBusy error on Office Communications Server 2007 R2, Conference Attendant when a user is transferred to an audio conference
  • 981257 An update to the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Audio Video Conferencing server is required to maintain existing behavior after update 977547 is applied

  • 972773 The diagnostics information for an audio or video conference call that failed is not available in the log of an Office Communications Server 2007 R2-based application
  • 972771 The Audio Video Multipoint Conferencing Unit (AVMCU) drops all incoming comfort noise packets when you use call users through the AVMCU server in a Communications Server 2007 R2 conference

  • Office Communications Server 2007 R2 – Enterprise Edition Distributed – Audio Video Conferencing Server
Note When you apply this update on servers that run Windows 2008 and have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, make sure that you start the installation of the update (.msp) by using the elevated Command Prompt. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Startthe Start button , click
    All Programs, click Accessories, and then right-click Command Prompt.
  2. Click Run as administrator.User Account Control If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or provide confirmation.
  3. Start the update (.msp) at the command prompt.

Removal information

To remove this update package, use the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel.

You may be prompted for restart after you uninstall the update for Office Communications Server 2007 R2, Audio Video Conferencing Server.
